Image Bank - Landscape Photography

 

I really like this photograph because the colours are exaggerated and therefore really show off the bright colours. It uses a leading line to draw the viewer into the photograph and helps them to see all the different colours. I like that the colours are bright and vibrant and the contest of colour between the rocks and the sky. I like that this landscape is all natural there is nothing man-made in the photograph or any people and this can keep the photograph as a natural landscape. 

I like this photo because the colours are vibrant and stand out and make the buildings stand out more and more. I like the composition of the photograph because you can see a lot of the London skyline and you can really appreciate every building in the skyline. I like that even though the landscape is taken from far away you can still pick out some of the more famous buildings in the landscape. I also like that the colours are still as vibrant when reflected in the river featured in the photographs.

I like this because the truly shows how urbanised the area is. The colours are all very similar and there aren't really any bright colours, the sky is also a similar colour to everything in the picture. I like that the landscape continues deep into the background of the photograph and that you can still clearly see the buildings for a long way into the picture. This picture still gives off a sense of hustle and bustle even though there are no people shown in the photograph.

I like that in this photograph is in black and white and I like the range of different tones that feature in the photograph. I like that the picture is relatable to everyone as everybody has seen a road like this or lives on a road like this. I like that it is very dark but still really shows off what is in the photograph. I like that the picture depicts natural life without actually showing anyone in the picture. The picture style suggests that it is New York as this is a kind of style used in New York.

I like this because this is a combination of both rural and urban landscape. I like how both are equally represented within the photograph.  I like that the yellow haze over the top gives the idea the it is either sunrise or sunset and adds a very natural look to the photograph. I like that the colours at the front of the photograph are vibrant but further back the yellow haze takes over and therefore the colours become more muted and no vibrant.

I like that this photograph is black and white however you can still see what season it is and you can still appreciate the weather In the photograph. I like that this is completely natural and there is no human life featured in the photograph. I like composition of the photograph and that the lone tree is not in the centre of the photograph and therefore draws the viewer into the photograph.

Image Bank - Composite Images

I like this photo because the manipulation of the size of the baby has been really well done. It looks extremely realistic and looks like the baby naturally fits there and that is where it belongs. I like this photo because even though you know that the baby doesn't belong there you can't help but feel like the picture is perfect. The size manipulation has worked really well and therefore the photo works well as a whole. The photo is very simple to highlight the manipulation of the photo and to make it clear that something has changed in the photo.

I like this photo because it has been manipulated and given a slightly eerie effect as the umbrella is standing up on its own. The image has been manipulated to look like this in the setting with the bird resting on the umbrella like it is. I like this image because the manipulation is very subtle and simple and therefore I like this photo because all the elements are linked together correctly and nothing looks out of place. 

In this photo the swimmers have been manipulated to look as if the starting blocks are the keys on the piano. In this image the manipulation is clear as people are to large to dive of piano keys. I like this because it gives an idea of surrealism as people are not really this size.  I like that in this photo everything works perfectly and fits together even though the things would never fit together in real life. 

I like this photograph as it has been manipulate in to something that makes no sense as you can not have a person doing butterfly in the middle of the road. This photo has been manipulated very well and appears very natural. I like that this photo really does defy all odds as people would never believe that they could see this but now they can. I like that this photo is well edited and the water seems to go back a long way and look like it goes on for miles just like the road. 

I like how the ship has been put inside the bottle and gives the ship in a bottle saying a whole different meaning. I like the attention to detail that has been put in to the editing with the ship under the sea. I like that the ship fits perfectly in the bottle and I also like that the bottle is actually on the sea and it looks like it is going to get taken out to sea at some point.



I like this image because it is extremely simple yet works so well. It looks like her body is missing because you can see exactly what is behind her. I like that it appear that her body is missing and it really does look like that because the edit has been done so well. I have created images like this before and really enjoyed creating them as I feel like they work together particularly well.

Image Bank - Photo Documentary

In this photo-documentary the person has documented the life of a farmer and his animals. I feel that this documentary works well and really helps to show off his life and what he does on a regular basis. I feel that the black and white keeps the photographs simple and clean. I feel that this really shows off his life and really documents the way in which he lives his life and the simplistic way in which he leads his life. I think the fact that there are multiple images in this set also shows a lot of his life and things that he does. There is a common theme through out the images that is the man and a goat in the image somewhere. 

In this documentary the lives of animals and is shown through the different images shown in the two images. The images show where the meat comes from and what it looks like. This documentary really shows the lives of the animals and really shows that the animals go through to get to certain points in their lives. This has also documented the animals that are special to certain farmers and how the same animal can be different to different people. This documentary look good in colour and the bright colours work well together to highlight the fact that the images are to do with the outdoors and the colours really show off the difference between the animals and the humans. 

 In this documentary the lives of people in a town in Germany. In this set the photographer has documented people and their lives in their town. The photographer has kept the background tone very similar to the colour of their clothes. In this documentary the photograph has documented each person but also groups of people that look similar and appear to be relatives. The images all link together well to show a clear set of images documenting the people who live in the village in Germany, the people have been photographed and it give a slight hint as to the kind of people that they are. This documentary is very different and I might like to create one similar to this documenting the lives of my family.

Image Bank - Multiple Imagery

I like this image because the image is exactly the same photo but the eye colour has been manipulated in order to show off the eye and really highlight the different colours. This multiple imagery doesn't tell a story but it does show a lot of different techniques. I like that no gap has been left between each and shows that it is exactly the same photo. I like this because it show continuity between the photos. 

I like this image because all the lips are different and are on different people in different light with different zoom however they work really together. The design is very simple and I like that a small gap has been left to show that it is a different range of photo. I like the fact that they are all different yet are able to link together in a clear way. 

I like both of these images because they are all photos of the same thing from different angles. I like that it is clear and it really shows off the subject of the photo. I also like that even though the whole subject isn't in the photograph from the layout of the images you can tell exactly what is being photographed and it is clear that the placement of the image bass been well planned and clearly thought out. 

I like this image because the subject of the photo and the individual photos are all very simple and really link together well. I like that even though the image doesn't make a tree and doesn't look like an actual tree. I like that even though it doesn't look like a tree it does resemble a tree slightly because the branches get less and less in the top of the image and the trunk is clearly shown in the bottom row of photos. 

I like this image because I feel like you can really appreciate all of the different parts of her face. I like how the photographer has used 5 images including skin and 4 which don't and has arranged them in a clear pattern. I like that you can clearly see all of her and you are drawn to the image because the face fonts look quite right and is really shown off through the placement of the images.

I like this photo because the facial expression adds to the theme of the photograph and really shows off the mood of the photo. I like the fact that the image is well lit and bright and there is a clear contrast between the colour of his shirt and the background colour. I like this photo because it is a really clear portrait and you can really see is facial expressions and it really adds to the tone of the photograph. 

I like this portrait because the pose that the guy is doing it extremely simple but works well because even though he is smiling he has a mysterious look about him because of the angle at which he is photographed.  The contrast of colour also works well and gives an air of mystery to the photo. The lighting of the photograph is bright and allows you to see all the sides of his face well as the lighting has been well placed. 

I like this portrait because the subject is not looking the camera and doesn't even appear to know that the photo is being taken. I like that you can see what he is looking in is glasses yet you can't work out exactly what he is looking at. I like that this photo isn't it the studio because I feel like it give you a better idea as to what he is looking at. 

I like this photo because it a portrait photograph that has been taken as a landscape. I like this photo because it is a young and shows the innocence in the photograph as the boy is all on his own and looks hurt adding to the innocence. The fact that you can't see his expression and he isn't looking at the camera means that it is hard understand exactly how he is feeling and what he is doing this adds an air of mystery to the picture because you don't really know what is going on.

This is a very simple photograph yet is it extremely effective as she is looking directly down the middle of the lens and it looks like she is looking directly at the person looking at the photograph. The portrait is clear and I like that the background is blurred and this also helps her stand out and makes it clear that the photo is all about her. 

I like this photo because it is a really dark and shaded photo of the lady and the dark tones add to the feeling of hurt and sadness which is also shown through the plaster on her face. I like that the photo is taken side on and really shows off the emotion in her face as it can be seen through both her eyes and her mouth. I like that photo has a dark background as it really makes her stand out and adds to the tone of the photo.

I like this image because all the photos are straight yet clearly overlap each other. I like the layout of the photo because the photographer has clearly focused on making the wheel join up and no on whether the floor matches up. I like it because it shows clearly that lots of images that have been laid over each other and I like that all the photos show different light and angles and I like how they are all different angles really showing off the shape of the floor. This has been joined together so there are no gaps in the pictures creating a whole image.

I like this image because the all the images have been edited to make the clouds different colours and so is the building. I like that the colour has been changed. I like that this image is isn't the complete shape and there are corners missing and pieces sticking out. I that even though the images are overlapped yet they still line up perfectly but you can still that it is overlapped due to the editing.  

I like this because all the photos were taken on a Polaroid camera and position in this way in order to show the movement. I like that the images don't overlap and that the the gap in between the photos isn't equal, this loots almost rushed even though you can tell that it is taken the photographer a long time to photograph. 

I like that in this photo a lot of the photos have been turned to different angles in order to make the picture complete. I like that there are still gaps in the picture it suits the style well. I also like the on some of the photos you can only see a tiny part of it and most of it is hidden by other photos. 

I like the photo looks very simple yet you can tell that a lot of work has gone into it to make it look ass impressive as it can. 

I like this because it is of a person. I think that people look very effective in photo joiner pictures. I like that it isn't perfect and doesn't all fit together perfectly as I feel that this looks better. I like that whole background hasn't been filled in that it has been left as just him and not a lot of what is around him. I like that you can tell the photos were taken over time because you can see his hand by his side and by his mouth showing that this wasn't just one photo taken cropped down and the pieced back together. 

I like this photo because it a longer landscape and you can really tell that the photographer spent a lot of time choosing the right location in order to get the most effective photo what would really show the photographer would like. I like this because there are a lot of people around and you can't really see the different pictures and this shows that the photographer has really looked at how the photos all fit together. 

Image Bank - Depth

This photo shows a very shallow depth of field because the front ball is in focus however the rest of the photo is out of focus however it is still easy to see what the background is as it is still quite clear and can be easily defined as it is a well known location and the only location you would really find the subject of the photo. I like this photo because the line of balls that get less and less in focus really shows the depth of the photo and that a small depth of field has been used.

I like this photo because the bulb closest to the camera isn't in focus yet the next one along is in focus and is the only photo in focus. I like that the bulbs become less and less in focus as they go along the line. I like the different colours used in the and how much the bulbs in the back ground aren't in focus year still show that they are shining

I like this photo because there is a clear depth with a clear vanishing point leading the main point of the  photograph. This shows depth well and really highlights the depth of the photo. The vanishing point adds to the depth of the photo and the use of a white light as the point of depth to really give the idea that the stair case is on going.

I like this photo because the boat is clear yet the background and the pebbles in the foreground are both out of focus. I like that the pebbles in the foreground are blurred because the really shows the distance between the boat and the camera and that the focus point of the photo has been changed as the camera focus would have probably been on those pebbles and I like the fact that they aren't.

I like this photo because the teddy bear is in focus and the background is so blurry that it is nearly impossible to tell exactly what the background but you can  guess that the background is somewhere you would find a child. I like this photo because there are very few colours that are clear and they are all very similar in their shades.

I like this photo because the photo the foreground is in focus and the rest of the picture is very blurry. I like that the front flower is really clear and you can see all the little details on the middle of the flowers yet you can barely separate the flowers in the background. I like how blurry the background is and how the background contrasts the front flowers.

Image Bank - Movement

I like this photo because it roughly shows the movement of the dice clearly and shows the path that the dice have taken to get to the point that they have got. I like that the path isn't clear and is quite jumbled up and its isn't clear exactly what path they took but you know the general path that they took. 

I like this image because it shows a complete motion and shows the whole movement. I like the fact that they all lay over each other really showing the direction of movement and gives the idea of a fluid movement as you can see it all the way through and isn't just one part of the movement. I like the use of colour as it really makes the woman stand out drawing the viewer in to the picture and showing the the movement of her whole body easily. 

I like this photo because the movement is clear through out the picture. I like this photo because the movement is simple and effective. This photo is very simple yet really shows off the whole movement. It is a photo that has been created multiple times but has to be created successfully in order to really show the complete movement. 

I like this photo because it shows ever slight movement of the man standing up I like this because only the start and end of the movement are clear and it looks like a concertina and really shows ever single slight movement involved in taking two steps. I like the editing used in the photo because it looks like the photo could be squished together and make one whole person. 

I like both of theses photos because the main focal point of the image is clear yet the background of the photo is blurry showing off the movement. I like the fact that you can see the person on the thing that is moving yet the background is blurry this shows movement in a different way as it isn't a lot of images laid over each other to show movement in a different way. 

Image Bank - Reflection

I like both of the photos featured above. I like the use of the puddles as a way to show reflection. In the  top photo I like the fact the the relocation has been kept in the puddle but then only the shoes are where the reflection is coming from. I really like this technique and think it is really clever. I like the fact the shoes have been placed in exactly the right position of there shadows. I like the top photo because it is a really different way in which to show off the reflection in the photo. I also really like the second photo because the reflection is exactly what we can see at the top of the boy. I slanted angle of the photo has been well used because it has been taken at this angle to really show off the relocation and get it at the angle where the reflection is at the exact angle of the body that is on show in the picture . 

I like this photo because it is very simple and clear. The base of the photo is very simple and really allows the reflection of the sky to be show. I like the fact that the reflection is clear yet the background is blurry and unclear. The photo looks like it has been taken through the glass as a way in which to make the colours clearer and as a way to really enhance the image. The image would be really simple to recreated and makes a really nice clear image. 

I like this image because the reflection is just a straight reflection of what the mirror can see the reflection is very simple and clear straight. The mirror is well placed in the mirror because it is hiding her body and the reflection makes it look almost like you are looking straight through her. It is as if the picture is an optical illusion. I really like this image and would like to try and create something like this in the studio maybe. 

I like this image because the relocation has been manipulated to be in colour and really shows off the reflection and the detail in the reflection.  I like photos that contain colour manipulation because I think that it really shows the detail of the clouds and the different colours make it stand out. The back and white background really helps the different colours stand out and show exactly what the image is trying to show. 

I put this image in my image bank because it is clear and shows a clear reflection of the building and everything around it. The fact that the colours all transfer into the reflection really shows off the detail on the reflection and how well each bit has reflected in to the water and the reflection is clear and crisp which is extremely clear and well presented.
